The Dove Service offers counselling and support to those struggling with the impact of bereavement, significant loss, or life changing/limiting illness. A Child of Mine is here after the most unimaginable loss. They are there to hold your hand and help you through the days ahead with practical information, guidance and support from people who really do understand.
A Child of Mine is there to help and support anyone affected by the death of a child, in as many ways as possible. They support all families such as: parents, siblings and all family members who have been through a bereavement of a child.

Child Bereavement UK supports families and educates professionals when a baby or child of any age dies or is dying, or when a child is facing bereavement. Their vision is for all families to have the support they need to rebuild their lives.
The charity has experience in delivering the following direct services at a growing number of locations across the country:
• Individual, couple and family support sessions
• Parents' support groups for baby and child death and support through a subsequent pregnancy
• Children and Young People's groups (CHYPS) for children to attend with adult carers
• A Young People's Advisory Group (YPAG) for bereaved young people up to age 25
They also offer consultancy and bespoke solutions for organisations looking to address specific local needs.

University Hospitals' bereavement staff are here to help you during this difficult time.
They will advise you on the practical steps you need to take following a death and offer help on coping with grief. Staff will also signpost you to various organizations that can help you sort out both practical and emotional issues.
Leaflets and booklets such as 'Helping you to cope with bereavement' which includes 'Registering a death at the Hospital' are also available from the hospital.
