A large portion of the £2 million raised comes from people and groups in the community that hold fundraising events throughout the year. Many of these events are adaptations of tried and trusted themes ranging from coffee mornings and Christmas fares to auctions and balls.
Every penny counts and every little raised goes towards making a difference to the lives of some very special children and families. We cannot provide this vital service without your help.
Here are some ways you can support us:
Organising an event – if you’ve got any ideas for a fundraising event then we want to hear from you. We will provide you with as little or as much support as you need to hold your event… anything from fashion shows and sponsored head shaves, to talent shows and balls!
Join a Friends group or form a new one in your area – we have established Friends Groups in several areas and are always looking for new members. Contact the fundraising team to find out about a group in your area, or about starting your own group.
Recycling – foreign coins, mobile phones, cartridges, aluminium cans. Give us your trash and we’ll turn it into cash!
Collecting tins - you can help by placing collecting tins in your staff canteen, business or social club.
Store Collections – we hold regular store collections at supermarkets across Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
