ROBBIE Williams fans have smashed a fund-raising target for a charity the singer supports.
Members of Robbie Williams Fansites United set out to raise £500 for the Donna Louise Children's Hospice, at Trentham Lakes.
But, after the Tunstall-born star mentioned the initiative in a blog, donations to the fund-raising website flooded in from all over the world generating more than £2,500.
Members of the group have now decided to make fund-raising for the cause a permanent thing.
Member Christina Royal, aged 44, from Suffolk, who led the fund-raising, said: "That hospice does fantastic work so we feel we have to get the word about it out there.
"The fund-raising should have finished this month but we're going to keep going."
