The 7th annual Donna Louise Children’s Hospice 10k* and 5k Family Fun Run takes place on Sunday 15th May at Trentham Estates, kindly sponsored by Michelin. This year's race marks the start of national Children’s Hospice Week – raising the profile of the vital care and support provided by children’s hospices across the country. To celebrate, runners are being encouraged to dress as Super Heroes in fitting with the theme of the week.
The 10k race is an officially registered road race under UK Athletics* and attracts runners from across Staffordshire and South Cheshire. This year, 10k runners will receive official race times via electronic time tagging for the first time. The event is perfect for serious and fun runners alike, and includes a family-friendly 5k fun run.
Pre-registration has now closed for the event, however you able to register on the day by visiing the 'registration' marquee from 9:00 – 9:30am for 10:00am race start, with a warm up beforehand to get your blood pumping, your muscles warmed up and get you in the spirit of the race. To make things easier, you can download an entry form below and complete it prior to arrival. Entry fee for 10k is £14 for adults; for the 5k is £12 for adults and £7 for children under 16yrs. Family tickets for the 5k based on 2 adults and 2 children, costs £35. All race participants receive a medal and kit bag on completion.
If you have already registered for the event, remember to bring your information pack with you. This pack will either include your voucher (5K) or time tag (10K), along with your running number, all of which you will need to participate. Other than that - the best of luck!
