BUSINESS LEADERS PLEDGE HELP FOR CHILDREN'S HOSPICE
United: Business leaders came together to pledge to help raise money for the Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust.Around 20 heads of some of Staffordshire's largest companies, including Trentham Leisure, Wedgwood and Waterworld, met last night at the home of Lord Stafford, patron of the trust, at Swynnerton Park.
Under discussion were plans to hold more events to benefit terminally ill children in the area. Companies were also asked to become partners of the hospice by donating sums of up to £25,000.
A spokesman for the Trust said: "We need to raise £2 million every year and local companies can play a vital role in helping us achieve this."
