Volunteering is a great way of meeting new people, learning new skills and building confidence.
We rely on volunteers to help with fundraising, administration, maintenance and in our shop.
We can't do it without you!
There are many roles for Voluntees at Donna Louise Children's Hospice:
Charity Shop Assistant - We need volunteers who can help serving customers, steaming clothes and sorting through donated goods.
Fundraising - There are many roles within the fundraising department that volunteers can help with. These include:
- Administration
- Money counting
- street/store collections
- Fundraising stalls
- Cheque presentations
- Event support
Tea Bars - providing refreshments for the community at the Magistrates Courts.
Kitchen Assistant - providing support for the cooks preparing meals for children and families and refreshments for external meetings.
Reception - Volunteers are needed to answer the phone and the front door. To be the friendly face to meet and greet visitors and receive donations.
